Screen Printing

There’s a lot to be said for the timeless art of screen printing. Due to the thickness of the ink, this spectacular effect specializes in producing tactile, abrasion and moisture-resistant, and high-opacity inks on a variety of substrates. The technique utilizes a very fine mesh with a stencil attached. A squeegee runs across the surface of the screen, pushing ink through the open holes of the stencil, delivering ink precisely to areas predetermined in the graphics file. The ink is then immediately cured and hardened by UV light, producing artwork that really pops.

Foil Embossing & Stamping

Foil stamping is a process of fusing a bright, metallic foil onto a label using a combination of heat and pressure. This is not a metallic-looking ink, but a thin layer of actual metal. To create that, we run the most advanced flatbed foil embossing system, offering everything the wine and spirit market expects from modern embellishment — unique features like registered 3D foil and micro-embossing in combination with different foil colours, all combined in one single tool, allowing the job to be run in-line in a single pass. And that results in faster turnaround at a lower cost.

Spot Varnishing

Spot varnishing is the application of a special coating on a particular spot or isolated area. When the area is raised above the paper surface area, creating a more pronounced visual and adding a tactile element, the impact is elevated even further. This effect is referred to as "High Build". Our High Build process creates a dynamic, raised, high gloss, satin or matte element. High Build can be created via a screen printing technology or UV varnish + embossing.
